I decided to start a new blog here because my myspace blog is more or less rambiling idiocrocies that run through my head and are not really who I am so much of a way to vent. Here I will talk about myself more and not what is going on in Bagdad...I will continue to post my rambilings on myspace, so please feel free to visit that blog-but I have been told it is marked private and I have no way of changing that w/o turning off my private settings of my profile page and I don't plan on doing that.
This blog is going to kick of with Rhayne's thrid birthday. She was really excited this year. We went to a birthday party last month and ever since then she has been talking non stop about happy birthdays and such so we had a sorta party but it was just the immediate family. We live quite a distance from our extended family and at her age it's best to only have a few friends over and since we have a large family of five we found it was more important to just celebrate the 5 of us. Partys in my mind are for the school aged. Besides, the neighboor kids came and played with them for about an hour or so before daddy got home and we did the dinner and cake thing-they would have been welcomed to join it just got too late because the cake I ordered wasn't there and we had to go pick up another cake because Brian didn't think to run down the frozen goods section and just grab one of those cakes and some decorations from the baking goods isle. If I would have had time or the knowledge that this would have happened like this I would have made a cake but we were in a time crunch so we all ran out and bought a cake...hence the anger at the cake. But all in all it turned out well-and I don't really think my Rhaynie noticed that her cake wasn't what I wanted it to be. I can not believe she is already three. Next month we will be celebrating Murphy's second Birthday then a break for a month followed by mine, and my mom and little Brian's birthday. The years go by so much faster when you are an adult-I never really believed the adults when they'd tell me to slow down, so I barely bother to tell my children the same. I've been saying it more and more often though, because since Rhayne's birthday Brian has been going on and on about his birthday party and such. Boy oh boy it's non stop-by the time he stops it'll be Murphy's day and he'll start up again I just know it. but I guess it's just a fact of life, huh?
